Historic Tax Credits

The IRS has been challenging the use of the Historic Tax Rehabilitation Credits being used by taxpayers involved in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of historic buildings. The credits apply to the costs that would be incurred for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of certain buildings. The rehabilitation of the buildings, includes, the renovation, the restoration, and the reconstruction. Further, and in combination with the investigation of the credits, the IRS has been investigating the use and validity of the partnerships involved in the utilization of the credits.

At Thorn Law Group, we are experienced at representing taxpayers who claimed historic tax credits. If you have any questions concerning the use of historic tax credits, the partnerships involved, or the IRS' current position in regards to these credits, please contact Kevin E. Thorn at 202 349-4033 for a confidential consultation
